Hollow Sooth

Introduction

Hollow Sooth is a living narrative NFT project based around 1/1 collectible art cards called Oracles.

On a nameless coast, beneath the pale light of the triplet moons, there is a House that contains more rooms than there are stars in the sky. It’s a place where dangerous and wild things can become forgotten, their stories lost to time.

A prison for dreams. For Oracles.

But what is forgotten can be discovered again.

Only a seeker of truth—someone like you—can wander the endless halls of the Hollow House and feel the vibrations of stories struggling to be born. Some are dangerous. Some are painful. All are real. All are false.

Oracles

Each Oracle is a unique piece of art, with a name, image, fortune text, and sequence of three Glyphs. Oracles are the building blocks of a mythology that will evolve in collaboration with collectors.

Oracles will be released in Seasons, each consisting of 24 unique NFTs.

Resonance Keys

Every 24 days, two Resonance Keys will appear. One will be available for public sale, and one will be gifted to a member of the Hollow Sooth community, selected at random.

 

Creating Visions

By collecting three Oracles with matching glyphs and a Resonance Key, holders may sacrifice these to the Labyrinth which will trigger the creation of a unique work of art and accompanying narrative called a Vision, determined by the fortunes of the sacrificed Oracles.

When the Vision is completed, it will be returned to its owner along with their Oracles, now in a decayed form which destroys the matching glyph on each card.

The Resonance Key is lost within the Labyrinth.

Decayed Oracles can be traded and sacrificed again to create new Visions, but beware of overusing them!

Building a World

Visions are considered canon in the ongoing narrative of Hollow Sooth, and will impact the design and fortunes of future Oracles.

Vision-holders will gain access to a private section of the Hollow Sooth Discord, and are encouraged to help collaborate with me on the design and narrative of future art releases!

Hollow Sooth is all about creating our own future. Every collector and member of the community is encouraged to contribute and participate in the evolution of this project however they can. On their own, each Oracle is simple and mysterious… but with the guidance of the community of collectors, we will create a universe together.

 FAQs

 

  • Each Season of Oracles will be released via public sale on OpenSea. Up to 20% of Oracles from each Season may be reserved for promotions or event rewards specified in advance

  • Each official Season of Oracles includes 24 unique NFTs, released every 3 months. Smaller special event releases may be available at irregular intervals.

  • Resonance Keys are utility tokens, released in pairs every 24 days. Resonance Keys are necessary to create a Vision using a matching set of Oracles.

    In each release, one Resonance Key will be available for public sale and one will be airdropped to a random member of the Hollow Sooth Discord community. There will be a very small participation requirement to become eligible, and all eligible community members will be weighted equally in the airdrop regardless of the degree of participation… ie, being significantly more active than another moderately active community member does not make you more likely to receive an airdropped Key.

  • The Labyrinth is a special wallet that holders can use to create unique Vision artwork with their Oracles.

    In order to trigger the creation of a Vision, the Labyrinth must receive:
    - 3 Oracles with matching glyphs
    - 1 Resonance Key
    - Form submission specifying the Oracles and address to receive the vision

    If any of the above requirements are not met, the Oracles will be returned to the original holder, and any Resonance Keys will immediately become available for sale. Holders who have been warned after repeatedly sending incorrect collections to the Labyrinth may permanently lose their Oracles at the discretion of the Hollow Sooth team.

  • Visions are unique artworks that are created after an eligible collection of Oracles + Resonance Key has been transferred to the Labyrinth.

    Each Vision combines the imagery and narrative of the component Oracles to create an entirely new, handmade artwork that expands the world of Hollow Sooth and provides the holder with a bespoke NFT in their collection.

  • As a reward for their commitment to the Hollow Sooth universe, holders of Visions (“Visionaries”) can verify their tokens on the Hollow Sooth Discord server to gain access to a hidden channel which will allow them to work with the Hollow Sooth team and have direct input on new Seasons of Oracles, events, and more.

    In addition Visionaries will be eligible for special access, privileges, and rewards as the Hollow Sooth project expands.
